Contemporary Service

More and more churches are adding  Contemporary Worship services to their schedule in order to appeal to a greater segment of the population, especially young couples and singles. 

In April, 2003, Beechwood obeyed God's leadership in starting a Contemporary Worship Service at 8:30am on Sunday mornings. Many of our members preferred a traditional worship experience so we retained our Traditional Worship Service at 11:00am. Worshippers can now choose from two distinctly different styles of worship.

Worship at Beechwood is the high point of every week. Our Contemporary Service is casual dress in a relaxed atmosphere. The music is lead by finding Amos, our Praise and Worship Team, singing popular contemporary  songs and praise choruses heard on Christian radio with musicians accompanying on keyboard, guitar and drums. Lyrics are projected on a screen, freeing your hands to clap to the lively rhythms. Brother Jeff delivers an inspiring message from God. Those in attendance come away refreshed and uplifted. Join us next Sunday at 8:30am in the Sanctuary.
