Worship Leader - Ryan Jones
Ryan Jones is a native of Vicksburg, MS. While there Ryan served as pianist for Calvary
Baptist Church for 1 year and Bovina Baptist Church for 4 years. He was also pianist and
entertainer for the Miss Mississippi Pageant for 2005 and 2006. A member of the Mississippi
Baptist All State Orchestra and Choir for 4 years, Ryan served as both chorister and pianist.
He studied piano under Joan B. Henderson-Leese for 8 years and has been continuing study
under Dr. Donald Sanders for 3 years. Ryan has also been currently studying voice for 3
years under Dr. Randall Richardson.
An avid advocate for the arts, Ryan has been actively involved in choirs such as Warren
Central High School's Madrigal Ensemble, Concert Choir, Varsity Choir, Show Choir, and
various octets and quartets where he was student director of the Women's and Concert Choirs.
He is also a part of Samford University's "A Cappella Choir" and "University Chorale".
Ryan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education Degree with a double
concentration in Vocal-Choral and Piano. Upon graduating from Samford University, he plans
on attending the University of Southern California, where he will pursue a Masters and
Doctorate Degree in Choral Conducting/Choral Literature.
